Challenge

TeuCard is a fintech from the Nova Era group. Originally from Manaus, in the Brazilian Amazon, it has a strong presence in the northern region of Brazil. One of its main products is the private label card, but TeuCard's operation has been expanding, and it now offers loan solutions.

To connect more with its audience, the need arose to create a mascot who, in addition to bringing more charisma, takes on the brand's persona by translating its characteristics visually and audibly.

Solution

We conducted extensive strategic research that ultimately resulted in him: Teo! A strong, agile, and intelligent jaguar. The choice of the jaguar came from a connection with Brazilian identity, as it is a Brazilian species present in the Amazon. In addition, its fur has geometric rosettes that represent the shapes present in our flag.

Teo's role is communicating with customers and answering questions through digital service channels. However, he has already broken the digital barrier and is also physically interacting with customers in Nova Era stores!
